Skin Care

Review| The Inkey List: Kaolin Mask

Now that most of us are working from home, it’s a great opportunity to up our skin care regimes. I have oily, congested acne prone skin. I love a good mask or exfoliant. Since I have a bit more time on my hands, I’ve been wanting to add new masks to my skin care regime.

When browsing on Sephora, I wanted to see what budget friendly masks I could possibly find. Enter The Inkey List. The products are affordable and bonus-it is a clean beauty brand. I decided to try the Kaolin Mask to review.

Retailing for $6.99 and described as ” natural, deep-cleaning face mask using high-grade clay to help absorb excess oil.”

This is a nice mask. The consistency is almost like a moisturizer. It doesn’t feel like a typical clay mask at all. I love how easy it is to remove, I don’t have to rub hard at my skin to get it off. For me, I think it’s almost too gentle. I didn’t notice a huge visual difference in my skin after using this. However, Mmy skin felt super soft after using it, but I didn’t notice a huge difference in the size of my pores or blemishes. I think if you have relatively good skin already, you may like this mask more.

I probably wouldn’t purchase this particular product again, but I am excited to try more products out from this line. Have you tried this mask? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
