Olive & June Nail Polish

I would always see advertisements for this brand on Instagram, but initially never paid much attention to it. I wanted to pamper myself a bit with every thing that is going on and honestly, I was looking for a nail polish remover pot that was comparable to Sephora’s own brand that has unfortunately been discontinued. It got polish off like a dream, didn’t smell and conditioned your nails as well. When I saw the review for the polish, I figured I’d just give a whole set a go. It was more economical that way.

I chose the Studio Box, which retails for $50 and includes:

  • Limited edition Poppy polish bottle handle in purple
  • Your Choice of Polish
  • The Top Coat
  • Cuticle Serum with Cactus Flower
  • Clean-Up Brush
  • Polish Remover Pot
  • Flat-Edge Clippers
  • Dual-Grit File
  • Nail Buffer Bar

I chose one of the summer collection colors. A gorgeous and vibrant lavender color called Bold & Unshaken (the name spoke to the attitude I’m trying to project at the moment). I think this kit is a great bang for your buck. I love the little box at the top where you can stick your phone to take pictures and/or videos of you doing your nails. Very smart and a great touch in this influencer world we live in. The nail polish itself is great. It holds up very well and if you are active, it doesn’t chip easily. My polish normally chips by day 2 as sad as that is. It doesn’t matter if I use a base and top coat usually, it will still chip. With this polish, it did not start to chip until day 6, and even then it was barely chipped towards the middle side of my nail bed-tips still shockingly going strong! Olive & June nail polishes are 7-free which is great.

Day 5 nails

The color of this polish seemed to start to fade by day 8. This is probably due to it being 7-free. I will definitely be purchasing more of their polishes in the future. The longevity is amazing. Have you tried Olive & June polishes yet? If you have, what do you think?
