The answer to hyper pigmentation? I ordered this powder concentrate from Soko Glam. I was looking for anything to help my hyper pigmentation. No matter if I pick a pimple or not, it leaves a dark mark! It really beats my confidence down. After an eczema flare up that left a sizable dark patch on my left check, I was on a desperate hunt to find something to help alleviate the discoloration.
This powder had great reviews on Soko Glam, so I decided to give it a try. This product retails for $20. It’s described as “This innovative, DIY powder, …offers all the brightening benefits of a powerful vitamin C serum, but without the chance of oxidation. The miracle solution contains 17% ascorbic acid (pure vitamin C), along with ingredients like allantoin, hydrolyzed collagen, trehalose, and lemon extract to hydrate and revitalize dull, tired skin for a more even, radiant and glowing complexion.
The gentle, travel-friendly powder can be used on all skin types, even those with sensitive or oily skin. The formula is free of alcohol, silicone, paraben, artificial fragrance, surfactants and mineral oil.”
It’s a pure powder that can be mixed in your favorite moisturizer or serum (I recommend a hyaluronic acid). I prefer putting it in my moisturizer. I personally saw results quite quickly, within 3 days. My dark spots faded significantly and the annoying dark mark left over from my eczema had disappeared. I appreciate this powder format, as it will last you much longer because it doesn’t oxidize.
If you struggle with hyper pigmentation, I definitely recommend this product.
