It’s typically my most favorite time of the year (for shopping that is!), Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. During this sale you can get steep discounts on autumn/winter shoes and clothing, homewares, and beauty. The sale typically begins in mid July and ends in August. This year, due to COVID-19, the sale preview began on July 24th online. There is no catalog this year and the preview is different too. Whereas normally, you can browse the catalog online, this year you are “shopping” on the actual Nordstrom website, you cannot purchase anything, but you can save it to a wishlist to expedite your checkout process when the sale actually begins.
This year’s offerings don’t seem to be as nice or as much as you would typically get during the sale. Understandable, as we are in a pandemic. The sale is usually first accessible to to cardholders (both credit and debit) and then the public. This year, due to the different tiers of cardholders that Nordstrom established with changing their rewards program to The Nordy Club, card holders will be shopping at different times.

With this Anniversary sale, I am more focused on lounge and sleep wear as well as beauty kits and value sized products, because let’s be real-we aren’t going anywhere any time soon. Below are some things I’ve got my eye on and my top picks:
